Shahrukh Khan was born on 2nd November 1965. He was brought up in Delhi. He has a sister named Shehnaaz, Wife Gauri Khan, And a dog Named Chewbacca. Shah Rukh Khan has won several awards for his outstanding performance in Darr (1993),ddlj (1995), dil to paga l hai 1997), and kuch kuch hota hai(1998). Right now he is the top most actor in the India. His recent hit badsha (1999) has also earned many praises. His latest hits are chak de india  (2007), and om shanti om (2007).

There is not a dot in Bollywood that does not carry Shahrukh Khan's name. He was born on 2 November 1965 in New Delhi, India. He married Gauri Khan on 25 October 1991. They have two children, son Aryan Khan (b. 1997) and daughter Suhana (b. 2000). Khan started out his career appearing in several television serials in the late 1980s. He made his film debut with the commercially successful Deewana (1992). Since then, he has been part of numerous commercial successes, as well as having delivered a variety of critically acclaimed performances. Biography
1991-1995 Devgan made his debut in Phool Aur Kante opposite Madhoo, winning the Filmfare Best Debut Award. Most of his films, at the start of his career were packed with a generous amount of dishum-dishum, like Jigar and Vijaypath. Mahesh Bhatt’s Naajayaz with Juhi Chawla won him his first nomination for the Filmfare Best Actor Award.

1996-2000 In 1997, he moved away from action with the romcom hit Ishq, which also starred Aamir Khan, Juhi Chawla, and Kajol. In 1998, he appeared in the Bollywood remake of French Kiss - Pyaar Tho Hona Hi Tha with Kajol. This fell in line among some of the most popular films that year. The same year saw the release of Mahesh Bhatt’s Zakhm, which looked at communal issues in India. The film won several awards including the National Film Award for Devgan’s performance.

His most talked about film in 1999 was Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in which he played Vanraj, a man who tries to help his wife get back together with her lover. He was nominated for the Filmfare Best Actor Award. He produced and acted in Raju Chacha in 2000, along with Kajol. However the film made an average hit at the box office.

2001-2005 His role as Bulwa in the major hit Lajja won him a nomination for Filmfare Best Supporting Actor. Ram Gopal Verma’s Company in 2002 based on the underworld had Devgan playing Malik, a gangleader. His performance was praised. He walked away with the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Performance and his second National Film Award for his portrayal of the freedon fighter, Bhagat Singh, in Rajkumar Santoshi’s The Legend of Bhagat Singh.

In 2003, the audience feasted on films like Ram Gopal Verma’s horror flick Bhoot, Prakash Jha’s Gangaajal, and J.P.Dutta’s LOC Kargil. This was followed by some diverse but remarkable performances in Mani Ratnam’s Yuva, in which he played a student leader and Rituparno Ghosh’s Raincoat, which was non-mainstream cinema.

2006-2009 Both his releases in 2006 became major hits. Golmaal, a-laugh-a-minute comedy and Vishal Bharadwaj’s Omkaara, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Othello. Year 2008 saw the release of U, Me Aur Hum, his directorial debut, in which he acted. He also produced and helped with the script of the film. The film received an average response and was partly inspired by 50 First Dates. The sequel Golmaal Returns, with Devgan playing Gopal, was a high-grosser.

He had two releases in 2009 – All the Best, a comedy and London Dreams with Salman Khan and Asin. Both did a fair job.

Upcoming
Next on his hit list is Rajneeti (2010), a political thriller and Once Upon a Time in Mumbai (2010), in which he plays Haji Mastan. He will be seen with Konkona Sen Sharma for the first time in Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge. The third installment of Golmaal is also expected to hit theaters in 2010.

Often known as Bollywood's Bad boy, his knack of walking into trouble has overshadowed people's perception of him as an actor. He may have been featured as the bad guy of the industry several times over. But many-a-common-man claims that this macho hunk has a heart made of pure gold.

Born on December 27, 1965 Salman Khan is the son of the legendary writer Salim Khan, who penned many super-hits in the yesteryear's like Sholay, Deewar, and Don. Salman started his acting carrier in 1988 by doing a supporting role in the movie "Biwi Ho To Aisi". The following year he came up with his leading role in the box office romantic hit Maine pyar kiya  (1989). From there he became the heart throb of Indian cinema.

Following with other box office hits he showed his terrific performance in  Saajan (1991),  Andaz apna apna  (1994),  Hum aapke hain kaun (1994), Karan Arjun (1995). His transformations can be sensitive, vulnerable, funny, aggressive and charming as his role demands.

In 1998 he was  arrested by the local police from the shooting location of the film Hum saath saath hain, for killing protected wild animals and spent about a week behind the bars. The actor is facing trial in three cases of killing black bucks and chinkaras and another of illegal possession of arms. In September 2002, Salman Khan had hit the headlines after he crashed his Land Cruiser near the American Express bakery in Bandra, killing one man and injuring others.

Being in those roguish behaviors he tried to balance his troubled life with his carrier. In 2003 he gave his emotionally charged performance as playing an obsessed lover in "Tere Naam" that translated into good reviews and a good run at the box office. He has not only managed to revive his career, but also to restore the confidence of his producers and distributors alike.

His work was noticed internationally in the movie Phir Milenge(2004) where he played the role of an AIDS patient. It was well appreciated by the World Health Organization (WHO) for presenting the problems of AIDS patient in today's world.

Green-eyed Udita was born in Dehradun, India, in the Goswami family. Her parents are from the North-Eastern State of Assam. She comes from a very traditional and conservative family, and studied in Maa Anandmayi Memorial and D.A.V. Public schools until the 8th standard.

Always wanting to be part of showbiz, she was not quite happy with her life in Dehradun. When she proposed to re-locate to Bombay, her parents initially opposed, but subsequently let her have her own way.

Born in Jamshedpur, Bihar, cusp-born (Pisces/Aries) Tanushree comes from a conservative Hindu Bengali family, and had her personality groomed according to strict social norms, resulting in her being shy and very introvert. Her dad's name is Tappan, who works for the Life Insurance Corporation of India.

She was employed with Oracle Institute for 3 months in event management and market survey and report making, her assignments included ramp, print campaign, videos, & commercials. She also was stage artist, doing concerts in various parts of India as well as abroad (Dubai).

This lack of confidence and shyness changed when she was enrolled in a boarding school in Pune where she would get a degree in Communications. Sushmita was born in the Bengali-speaking Sen family on November 19, 1975 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. Her family consists of her dad, Shubeer, a former Indian Air Force Wing Commander; mom, Subhra, Jewelry Designer and owner of a Dubai-based store. She has two siblings, a sister named Neelam, who is married to Nauman Malik, and a brother named Rajeev. Subhra's dad was a poet.

She attended different schools in Jorhat, and Nagpur, but spend the majority of her schooling days in the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute and Air Force Silver School in Delhi. She was regarded as a tomboy and spent most of her times with boys. Since the schools were Hindi medium, she could not speak English until she was 16 years of age. She subsequently not only mastered English, but became an English Honors student, and also obtained a degree in Journalism. Due to her place of birth she can speak Urdu flawlessly.

Her first public appearance was at the Air Force Club Contest at the age of 15. She did a few fashion shows thereafter. Then during 1994 she decided to be a participant in Miss India beauty pageant, fully aware that she was being pitted against the reigning favorite, Aishwarya Rai. Sushmita took everyone by surprise when she was crowned Miss India while Aishwarya had to content with being the First Runner-up. Both beauties went on to win Miss Universe and Miss World titles respectively. Ironically the final outfit for Miss Universe for Sushmita was made by a little-known Meena Bazar tailor, and her mom.

Not considered a classic beauty and leading quite an unconventional lifestyle she ended up in many relationships but did not marry anyone. She wanted to be a mother and to adopt a baby girl, and name her Renee. Since she is single, she had to fight a Court battle before she could finally adopt Renee. Finally on 13 April 2000 she was given the go-ahead to adopt her, even though the family-owned business in Dubai was already re-named as 'Renee' quite ironically a year earlier on 13 April 1999.
